“What the hell Aaron why didn’t you make them come back?” She questioned, angrily.

“Ronny got into a fight, the bartender was wrapping him up real quick and we were going to head back to the ship as soon as he was done.” Aaron answered.

“Excuse me miss how much do you charge?” Said a man with dark hair and cruel eyes as he approached her.

“What?” She questioned shocked at what the man had said.

“How much do you charge for… your services in the bedroom?” He repeated eyeing over her.

Celestia didn’t get a chance to answer before the man was on his ass holding his jaw. She looked at Gabe in shock. What the hell was that for? Before she could yell at him he pulled her close quickly and took her lips in an aggressive kiss.

The tavern was silent. Aaron stared at his son in awe, but Celestia matched his stare perfectly. She shook her head, breaking herself from the shock of it.

“Aaron get the crew to the ship as soon as Ronny is bandaged up, Gabe Rowboat Now!” She yelled furious as she stormed out of the tavern.

Gabe looked at his father, whom just shook his head at him and crossed his arms. He left the tavern quickly and caught up with Celestia and rowed them across to the ship then. He was waiting for her to speak but from what it looked like she was trying to calm down so he didn’t say anything.

She climbed up the rope ladder quickly and stood there with her arms crossed, waiting for him to get up there. She looked at him, fire in her eyes, and shook her head.

“What the hell were you thinking?” She yelled.

“I’m sorry but I couldn’t let him talk to you like that.” He returned as he started to walk down to the barracks.

“That doesn’t give you the right to hit some random man that you have never met.” She yelled. “I knew that was going to happen as soon as I walked in there. It’s part of being a female Captain and now the whole crew is going to think that they can lay their damn hands on me because you kissed me in front of everyone.”

“Sorry Celestia what else was I supposed to do?” He returned raising his voice.

“Anything else!” She screamed. “You don’t realize what I have to do now, do you?”

“What are you talking about?” He questioned.

She glanced around to see that the crew was in sight already. She took a deep breath and held back tears, she didn’t want to stick him in the brig but she had to so that the rest of the crew would realize that she wouldn’t tolerate that kind of behavior. She saw Aaron and a couple of the other crew board the ship then.

“Gabe you are to spend the day in the brig until you get your emotions under control.”

“Captain, you can’t be serious.”

“I am, Aaron let’s take him to the brig. Get those damn boats up so we can get back on schedule!”

She grabbed Gabe’s arm and Aaron grabbed the other. Gabe didn’t fight much, He just let them take him down below the barracks and to the brig as they called it.

The brig was on the bottom part of the ship and it was a small area with three cells. The walls were nothing but bars and so was the door. The lighting was dim, barely any. Aaron unlocked the door and Gabe just walked into the cell. Celestia reached in between the bars and ran her hand across his cheek.

“I am sorry Gabe.” She said apologetically. “But I had to make sure the crew knew that it is not alright to do that, I can let you out in a little while but you’ll have to swab the deck unless you stay all night.”

“What the hell is going on with the two of you?” Aaron asked.

“Nothing.” Celestia answered. “I have to go check on the rest of the crew and make sure they all know that they are in trouble.” She said as she headed back up the stairs.

“What’s really going on between the two of you?” Aaron questioned looking at Gabe, intently, wanting the truth from at least his son.

“Nothing.” Gabe answered.

“So you just punch random men for talking to any woman?” He questioned. “Then kiss the woman in front of them basically as a statement that she is yours?”

Gabe chuckled. “I have no clue why I did that.”
